What is Palliative Care?
Palliative care is holistic support that aims to relieve pain, manage symptoms, and provide emotional and social care. It is suitable at any stage of a serious illness and can be provided alongside curative treatments or as a primary approach when treatments are no longer effective.
Our Palliative Care Supports include:
- Pain and symptom management
- Personal care assistance (e.g., bathing, toileting, dressing)
- Emotional and psychological support for individuals and families
- Support with meals, mobility, and comfort
- Coordination with doctors, nurses, and palliative care specialists
- Respite care to support family caregivers
- End-of-life care in the home or other settings
